for the record
Sometimes when there is an activity I would rather not do, to express my opinion I say, "I'd rather eat glass," or "I'd rather drink gasoline."
I have done both of these things, so I know what I am talking about.

Funny, I never hear you say, "I'd rather clean the bathroom," or "I'd rather strip the wallpaper from the dining room." I wonder why that's so?
When I have something to do that I'd rather not do I say, "I'd rather swing dance." or "I'd rather sing in the choir." I've done neither, but I think I'd be shockingly good at both.9
Okay, I can understand not wanting to clean the bathroom, but not wanting to strip wallpaper? Isn't it the providence of every man to be interesting in all things involving home demolition or the word strip? What kind of man are you?
I thought I made this clear. I am a gasoline-drinkin', glass-eatin' kinda guy.
Is it true that Enya makes you want to drink gasoline? This is what I've heard.....
Okay, so you can eat glass and drink gasoline. Are you man enough to do it in that order? I didn't think so.
