nice. Very very nice.

I haven't woken up at 1:39pm since I was 16 years old. There have been occasions where I haven't yet gone to bed by 1:39pm since 16 though...

OK, Capt. I see that as a Vacation Challenge. One day waking up at 1:39 pm and one day going to bed at 1:39 pm.

Nils, there are only seven words in your comment, but two of them are confounding. What's going on with that first word? Is it yeesh? Why the big H? And, so far this vaction is just what doctr ordrerd.

Yeah - I was wondering about that YisH word myself - I was thinkin' it was a Dr. Seuss sort of word - "Hop on Pop - Fish in Dish - And now the Fish is in the YisH!"

There is nothing that can explain that capital "H" at the end of the word however. That my friends is a confounding mystery that must remain unexplainable possibly for security reasons.

Keep on sleeping man - A vaction involving sleeping like Rip Van Winkle sprinkled with some good ole fashioned caffeine abuse sounds like just what the good doctor ordered. As long as it was not that blasted Tushy-faced Dr.!!!

paintergirl, you are very funny ha ha

Shouldn't someone wake him up by now?

Off topic, but did anyone ever notice how many people spell and pronounce espresso eXpresso? As in a fast moving Italian train?

mb, we are vacationing in the part of the world I grew up in and here they have big roads which are called expressways... a word I haven't used since moving to the world of freeways and interstates.

And when I tried to say it the other day, I said espressway.

Glad you got out of bed at least once to check in...

I think we may have a record here in terms of comments to words in post - we're looking at a 9 word post, and 18 comments so far. 2:1 ain't bad.

I'm here to make it 20 posts. Are you guys back? I've seen some very annoying vanity plates up here, but it's just not the same without you.

What concerns me is the title: "vacation entry #1" which implies more entries.

Certainly Sparky had more than sleep and iced espresso on his vacation?

I think we should make up his next entry.

"vacation entry #2" Woke up and peed. followed by a pop tart.
