That doesn't remind me of a story that happened when I was 20. On New Year's Eve, I was kidnapped by aliens and taken aboard their ship. After doing a rather lousy medical check, I might add, they showed me to another larger metallic room, where stood before me a over 100 other people they'd kidnapped on New Year's Eve, including a wait staff from the local Ponderosa, and the buffet. The aliens said that they kidnapped people to observe the Earth's strange customs during a major calendar event. They only charged me $14.95 for the buffet, which I thought was a great deal, but when I asked for cocktail sauce, they said that there was no such word in their strange, but Germanic language. I think they were lying to me. I'm still haunted by it.
